TAMAT presents a vast selection of works from the two artists according to common themes (food, conflict, vanity, …) at the museum collections.
This allows one to appreciate the diversity of their work and the multitude of techniques, media, and materials used by the two creators.
The ground floor boasts 32 silk-screen prints from the work “Le vent d’Arcay’ presented by Dany Danino, as well as the video “Drapé” by Daniel Locus.
The two artists also present their works created in a dialogue with historic Tournai tapestries, museum highlights and pride of the town of Tournai.

Did you know?
Housed in a fine neoclassically-styled manor house, the TAMAT- Centre de la Tapisserie, des Arts Muraux et des Arts du Tissu is one of the five contemporary centres for textile arts set up by the French Community of Belgium.
Its location in Tournai is no accident, as the “capital” of Picard Wallonia was in the 15th and 16th centuries one of the main cloth centres of the country.
TAMAT also houses research facilities, a documentation and study centre, and a conservation and restoration workshop allowing the public to discover the slow and painstaking work that is textile preservation.
